Banana Split Doily

This doily is approximately 7 inches in diameter. It has one row of burgess ribbon... something new to me, and was fun to design into this pattern.

Super Duper Meaner Cleaner Scrubbie

What a name, huh? This is a scrubbie I made from netting. I added my own border design. I'll try to figure out how to explain how to make the scrubbie so you can have the pattern... if I can find the time, that is. Anyway, here are 3 versions of my scrubbie.

Sorry for being absent so long.....

Hi Everybody,

I'm sorry for being absent so long. I now have a great reason to keep up my blog entries. I recently joined a Web Group named Ravelry. I really enjoy it.

I have some interesting things to share with you so keep coming back. I've got a few patterns you may like to see.

My friend, Katheryn Garner

I have knows Katheryn over the internet for a number of years now. She is a beautiful lady. Her sole is kind, she is extremely talented and very easy to get along with. I have always wondered what she looked like. Today I was looking at her photos and found a wonderful photo of her. I'm sharing it with all of you.
Isn't it a beautiful photo?
Hugs,
Nana

A Long Lost Nana

Hello All,

I have been a very busy Nana! Since I met John, we haven't stopped. I help him when he does flea marketing. I have made scrubbies and potholders for sale, and have done quite well.

In the photos of the potholders the background is a square blanket I made for Romeow. He likes it best when I place it on the chair I use to crochet in.

I started helping John by volunteering my services to WINK TV, and have met several of the people there. The Chief Meterologist, Jim Ferrell, is my favorite. He is a very nice man. Taller than what I thought.

I took a photo of him on my phone at the Hurricane Seminar held in my hometown. Now I have to figure how how to get it emailed to me so I can add him to my blog!!

I have started designing another doily for publication. I have 9 rows completed so far, and it is looking very well.

That's about it for now... Until next time!

Hugs, Nana

Introducing John

I haven't been here since June. Shame on me. I have some great news for you. I have a beau. (hanging head shyly...) His name is John Ludlun. He's 2 years older than I am, still works, has a store on E-bay and volunteers time for WINK television personality, Jim Ferrell. I met him on the internet, Match.Com while I was on my extended vacation of approximately 2 months. We talked long distance while I was in Ohio and during my trip back home.

I got to know him and liked what I heard. We exchanged photos and I liked what I saw too. I had been home 2 days and he came to see me. We've been seeing each other since. That was the end of August.

I have included a photo of us on our trip to Kennedy Space Center. I really enjoyed my visit there.

J.B. Saga Ended

Looks like I don't have to feed J.B. anymore. I found out the maintenance man of the park caught him in a cage and took him to the pound. There he will be kept for a certain period of time to see if someone will want him. After that I don't want to say....
